The following information is from Cindy Thorpe.
Her father, John Ahshing, Jr., lived on the White Earth Reservation where he died in 2002.
He was one of the caretakers for the Pine Bend Cemetery. The brothers that lived on the Church property all helped take care of the Cemetery.
