Wash 3/4 cup wild rice, soak in 3/4 cup water, then cook.
Fry 1 lb bacon along with 1/2 cup each chopped celery and chopped onions.
When the bacon is slightly crisp, add this to the cooked wild rice along with:
2cans of mushrooms
2cans of chicken broth
1can cream of chicken soup
1can cream of mushroom soup
Mix all together and simmer.

1can crushed drained pineapple
1/2cup sugar
1vanilla extract
1small jar chopped drained maraschino cherries
1small bag miniature marshmallows, white or colored (optional)
112 oz. container whipped topping

Allow rice to cool 1 hour
Add remaining ingredients, mix well, and chill before serving
